SpyBuddyPRO Exclusion Instructions for Norton AntiVirus 2007

If you are running Norton AntiVirus on your PC you will need to follow these instructions before you install SpyBuddyPRO. Please note these instructions are for the latest version of Norton AntiVirus and may not look or operate the same as older versions. In the event you have an older version and would like to update Norton AntiVirus you may upgrade by clicking here. 

Step 1

Load Norton AntiVirus 2007 and click the yellow 'Settings' bar, scroll down, and then click 'Virus and Spyware Protection Options'.

Step 2

• Once the options window loads you will see the 'Scan Exclusions' button under 'Advanced Options'. Click to open.
• Now enter the files from the Exclusion List by clicking the 'New...' button. See image and Exclusion List below.

Exclusion List - Instead of typing this list you can highlight each file and folder name with your mouse, hold down Ctrl C on your keyboard to copy, go to the 'Add Item' window, place the cursor in the box, and hold down Ctrl V to paste. This will ensure accuracy and save you time.

Step 3

• Click the 'Signature Exclusions' button.
• Click the 'New...' button to load the 'Security Risk List' and add the Norton files from Signature Exclusion List provided below.

• Spyware.Ispy
• Spyware.KeyloggerPRO
• Spyware.Netobserve
