Thank you for purchasing SpyBuddyPRO! After a few more steps you will have the ability to completely monitor your PC. In the event you have an antivirus application installed on the PC you may need to exclude certain files from being scanned. For more information on antivirus exclusions please click here.

AntiVirus Exclusions

Because of its keystroke recording and surveillance abilities, SpyBuddyPRO can be labeled as spyware by programs such as Norton and McAfee. Directions are included on how to exclude SpyBuddyPRO from being deleted or effected by these applications.

Installation

It is very important that SpyBuddyPRO is not running while installing or updating.

Step 1

In order to begin installation insert the CD into the CD drive or if you purchased a download copy double-click the spybuddy-pro-setup file.

Step 2

Now you will be prompted to enter the serial number for activation. Enter your serial number then click the button that reads Click here to activate your copy of SpyBuddy!

Note: Your serial number is case sensitive and your PC must have access to the Internet for product activation.

Step 3

The next window validates your serial number activation. Click 'OK' as shown in the image below.

Step 4

If you have entered your serial number correctly then the following window will read SpyBuddy has been successfully activated as shown in the image below.

Note: If your serial number did not properly activate then ensure the PC is connected to the Internet, you have entered the serial number correctly, and click 'OK'.

Success!

Once you click the 'OK' button in the previous step, SpyBuddyPRO will be ready to load. Hold down all of the following hotkeys at the same time to load the Central Control Panel:

SHIFT CTRL ALT Q

Now enter the default password 'spybuddy' to load the central control panel. Here you can begin setting your monitoring options. Click the configuration button in order to access these options.
To begin recording click the start/stop button, enter the password 'spybuddy' or the new password you created and click Start.

Viewing your recorded logs requires you to hold down all of the following hotkeys at the same time:

SHIFT CTRL ALT Q

Now enter your password and when the control panel loads click the log you would like to view.

Stealth and Concealment Settings

When the SpyBuddyPRO Central Control Panel loads, follow these directions for maximum stealth settings.

Click configuration on the SpyBuddyPRO control panel, select SpyBuddyPRO Concealment, and click Remove SpyBuddyPRO From Add/Remove Programs List.
Click configuration on the SpyBuddyPRO control panel, select SpyBuddyPRO Concealment, and click Remove SpyBuddyPRO From Start Menu Programs List.
In order for SpyBuddyPRO to load in stealth mode when the PC is started click configuration on the SpyBuddyPRO control panel and select General Options. Once the general options window loads select:

Run SpyBuddyPRO on Windows Startup for all users.
Automatically start SpyBuddyPRO in activate monitoring mode.
Start SpyBuddyPRO in total stealth mode.

Once these options are selected, click the OK button.
