    No, SpyBuddy cannot be installed remotely. You must have physical access to the computer your wish to monitor. Once you install the software, all further interaction with the software will take place within your ExploreAnywhere Account. This includes viewing activity logs, viewing screen shots, transferring licenses, etc.

    Once SpyBuddy Is Installed, How Do I View The Recorded Activity?
    Once you have installed and activated SpyBuddy onto the computer you wish to monitor, you just have to login to your secure ExploreAnywhere Account to review the activity. Once logged in, simply select your device and you can browse through all the activity logs.

    How Do I Uninstall SpyBuddy From The Computer It Is Monitoring?
    To uninstall SpyBuddy from the computer you are monitoring, simply login to your ExploreAnywhere Account and click the icon marked "Uninstall" next to the device you wish to remove the software from. This will initiate the SpyBuddy uninstall process. The uninstall process is completely silent and no messages or notifications will be displayed to the end user.

    Remember, when you uninstall a license, all data is removed and cannot be restored.

    Can I Send The SpyBuddy Install File To Someone Through E-Mail?
    No. Mail services (both paid and free e-mail services such as GMail, Yahoo! Mail, Microsoft Live and AOL) do not allow executable attachments to e-mails. This includes any executable files embedded into archives (zip files) or Word documents. If you try to send a file containing an executable, the e-mail will fail to send.

    How Many Computers Can I Monitor?
    You can monitor one computer per license. If you wish to monitor multiple computers, you will need to purchase additional liceneses. Regardless of how many licenses you ultimately purchase, all of your devices will be available in your centralized ExploreAnywhere Account. This means you do not have a different ExploreAnywhere Account for each computer you are monitoring.

    Can I Move/Transfer My License To Another PC?
    Yes! At any time, you can deactivate your license with your ExploreAnywhere Account and reactivate it on another computer. You do not need to contact us to perform this action.

    Keystrokes Are Not Being Recorded In Chrome/Firefox/Internet Explorer. Why?
    Most likely you have Webroot Internet Security or Norton Internet Security installed. These programs have a built in setting (under the "Spyware" section or "Browser Protection") that will obfuscate keystrokes typed into any web browser (for example, keystroke characters will appear in your activity logs as "0" or "1"s something like "---//////.\\\\=="). You will have to manually disable this protection setting within the aforementioned program to prevent it from interrupting the keylogger.

    What Languages Does The Keylogger Support?
    The keylogger will support any language character set. This includes, but is not limited to, English, Spanish, Chinese, Mandarin, Greek, French and Russian.

    My Activity Logs And Screen Shots Are Not Synchronizing. Why?
    It is possible that the computer running SpyBuddy is not connected to the internet. When SpyBuddy reconnects to the internet, it will upload all of the activity that took place when the computer was offline.

    If you are sure SpyBuddy is connected to the internet, and your account is not synchronizing, we recommend that you reboot the computer running SpyBuddy. If, after reboot, the logs are not synchronized within five to ten minutes, contact our support department who will diagnose the issue further.

    Does SpyBuddy Record Activity If The Monitored Computer Is Offline?
    Absolutely! If a computer is not connected to the internet for any reason, SpyBuddy will continue to silently monitor activity that takes place the computer (such as screen shtos, keystrokes, etc). As soon as the computer establishes a connection to the internet, it will securely synchronize all the activity logs that were generated while the device was offline. This includes screen shots!

    Will The User Know SpyBuddy Is Running?
    No. Our software cannot be detected by the end user. It does not appear on your desktop, in your start menu, your system tray, your add/remove program lists, your desktop, or anywhere else. The only time the user will know SpyBuddy is running is if you configure the "Startup Alert". If this is enabled, a message will appear when the computer is booted up with a configurable message letting the user know their activity is being monitored.

    Can The User Delete Or Stop SpyBuddy From Running?
    Absolute not! Unlike most computer monitoring products, our software runs at the kernel level. Our software cannot be circumvented by the user of the computer. In the very rare case that our software is discovered by the user, it will be impossible for the user to kill or stop the process from running. Rest assured, once installed, it cannot be removed by anyone but you!
